Almost 200 Resident Teachers have gathered at Manjushri KMC for the Intensive Teacher Training Program 2022 with Gen-la Kelsang Khyenrab, retired General Spiritual Director of NKT-IKBU.

All Kadampa centers are dedicated to all living beings. They belong to them, remaining in their service for all time, and can never be taken over by individuals or organisations and used for other purposes. For this reason, Venerable Geshe Kelsang Gyatso Rinpoche says that these centers are very precious and that whenever we engage in an action to benefit a center we are in fact benefitting all living beings.

On June 4, the 91st birthday of Venerable Geshe Kelsang Gyatso Rinpoche, Kadampa centers around the world joined in a special celebration of retreat and puja.
June 4 is Dharmachakra Day on which we celebrate Buddha’s first teaching in this world – the first Turning of the Wheel of Dharma. It is also the birthday of Venerable Geshe Kelsang Gyatso Rinpoche, the Founder of NKT.
“Every day we carry out many beneficial tasks to prepare the new facilities of KMC Spain for the hundreds of people from many parts of the world who will arrive at the new Kadampa Temple in Malaga.”
In the next few days, all the artwork in the Temple will be completed and all the holy objects installed in the shrine.

This Saturday, June 4, is Dharmachakra Day, on which we celebrate Buddha’s turning the Wheel of Dharma in this world. This extremely auspicious day is also the birthday of Venerable Geshe Kelsang Gyatso Rinpoche, who is 91 this year.
