On September 17 our most precious Spiritual Guide Venerable Geshe Kelsang Gyatso Rinpoche showed the manner of passing peacefully into the clear light. Venerable Geshe-la requested that for auspiciousness at this time all Kadampa centers around the world engage in a short retreat using his special prayer, Request to the Holy Spiritual Guide Venerable Geshe Kelsang Gyatso Rinpoche from his Faithful Disciples.

At this time of year in many Kadampa centers around the world, the regular classes restart after the summer break, including the Foundation Program classes.
Friday, October 14, will be Work a Day for World Peace Day, during which people all over the world will dedicate a day’s wages or whatever is a comfortable amount to help with the work of the International Temples Project.
September will see three Kadampa Dharma Celebrations: The Quebec Dharma Celebration, UK Dharma Celebration & Nordic Dharma Celebration.
KMC France, Nagarjuna KMC and KMC Seville have all hosted retreats following the Summer Festival.
Many Kadampa centers offer opportunities to take part in volunteer visits – helping out with the work of the center in exchange for accommodation, meals and participation in the spiritual program.
