This month, KMC Valencia, KMC C\u00f3rdoba, and KMC Odiyana organized retreats in special locations where students enjoyed the peace and happiness that comes from developing a good heart.<\/h3>\r\n

A few precious days away from the noise and rush of daily life gave the Sangha of KMC Valencia in Spain the opportunity to enjoy a wonderful retreat in nature – a true gift for body and mind.Through teachings on karma, purification, and compassion, practitioners learned to observe their actions with greater awareness, to release what no longer serves, and to open and soften the heart through the practice of universal compassion.<\/p>\r\n

Each session offered a beautiful opportunity to turn inward and, guided by Venerable Geshe Kelsang Gyatso Rinpoche’s precious instructions, to begin purifying the mind from its very root.<\/p>\r\n

The Sangha of KMC Valencia returned from this retreat feeling lighter, clearer, and more aligned – carrying the sincere intention to live with greater love, kindness, and compassion. Deeply grateful to their precious Guru and to the New Kadampa Tradition for making such meaningful experiences possible, and grateful to all the Sangha whose warmth and friendship made this retreat so special.<\/p>\r\n

During the Carnival holiday, the Sangha of KMC C\u00f3rdoba<\/a> in Argentina gathered for a deeply meaningful retreat – a beautiful opportunity to step away from the busyness of daily life and turn inward with open and receptive hearts.<\/p>\r\n

Through teachings on love, compassion, and the nature of the mind, practitioners discovered insights that gently challenge our ordinary way of seeing the world. When we recognize that all living beings share the same fundamental wish – to be happy and free from suffering – the sense of distance between ourselves and others naturally dissolves. With the wisdom of pure love and compassion, there is no longer a basis for our problems; instead, the mind becomes a source of healing, purification, and lasting peace.<\/p>\r\n

Practitioners traveled from different provinces across the country to take part, listening with great care and with hearts wide open.<\/p>\r\n

Odiyana KMC Visits Nagarjuna KMC<\/h3>\r\n

the Sangha of Odiyana KMC<\/a> in Cheshire, England, traveled to the beautiful grounds of Nagarjuna KMC<\/a> in Northamptonshire for a special away Lamrim retreat – a wonderful opportunity to step away from the busyness of daily life and deepen their practice together in an inspiring setting.<\/p>\r\n

The retreat was wonderfully well attended by a warm mix of newer and more experienced practitioners, all coming together with the same sincere wish to grow in Dharma. Within Nagarjuna KMC’s beautiful meditation room, the Sangha had the great fortune of receiving powerful and inspiring Lamrim teachings from their kind Teacher, Gen Kelsang Chokyong, Resident Teacher of Odiyana KMC.<\/p>\r\n

What a blessing it is that, thanks to Geshe-la’s vision of a worldwide community of Kadampa practitioners, sanghas across the UK can come together in this way – supporting, inspiring, and nourishing one another on the path to liberation.<\/p>\r\n
