After months of dedicated work by the artists at Kadampa Art Studio, a new metal statue prototype for Kadampa Centres worldwide is nearing completion. Through the meticulous processes of bronze casting, welding, chasing, and sanding, the prototype is on the verge of entering the finishing room for its final stage of painting.
In a converted shipping container next to the Kadampa Art Studio at Manjushri KMC, two skilled Kadampa artists are quietly manufacturing a prototype of the next generation of statues, which will be made of metal rather than polyurethane.

No sooner had the work for the Málaga Temple been completed than the Kadampa Art Studio at Manjushri KMC switched focus to preparing statues and art for smaller urban Temples.
Seventeen fortunate students from Kadampa centers around the world are currently engaged in a six-month training course at Kadampa Art Studio at Manjushri KMC.
Kadampa Art Studio is abuzz with activity. Over the last two years they have made well over a thousand objects to adorn the new Temple in Málaga.
The artists and volunteers at the Kadampa Art Studio have been hard at work for months preparing statues and adornments for the Málaga temple which is due to open in June.
