Almost 200 Resident Teachers have gathered at Manjushri KMC for the Intensive Teacher Training Program 2022 with Gen-la Kelsang Khyenrab, retired General Spiritual Director of NKT-IKBU.
No sooner had the work for the Málaga Temple been completed than the Kadampa Art Studio at Manjushri KMC switched focus to preparing statues and art for smaller urban Temples.
After a long break, live Festivals once again return to Manjushri KMC! The International Summer Festival 2022 will take place there July 29 – August 13.
At Manjushri KMC, the mother center of NKT, Buddha’s Enlightenment Day was celebrated this year with a nyungnay fasting retreat and an Offering to the Spiritual Guide puja. To the delight of everyone, a beautiful, warm spring day morphed into a magical full moon evening. Pure magic!
Over a hundred people enjoyed a wonderful weekend course at Manjushri KMC with Gen-la Kunsang, retired Deputy Spiritual Director of NKT-IKBU and Resident Teacher at Madhyamkak KMC, entitled Restore Your Wellbeing, Balance and Mental Clarity. Gen-la was her usual joyful self and gave very accessible teachings that delighted everyone present. The weather was glorious and it was a real pleasure to see so many people enjoying the Temple, cafe and grounds at the mother center.
At the suggestion of Venerable Geshe Kelsang Gyatso Rinpoche, yesterday a special Prayers for World Peace was held at Manjushri KMC led by Gen-la Kelsang Dekyong, the General Spiritual Director of NKT-IKBU, to pray for peace in the world at this time.
