In the last few weeks, participants in Spain and South Africa have had the opportunity to engage in various retreats and create the inner causes for a happy and meaningful life.

April blessing empowerments took place at KMC Cuernavaca, Mexico; KMC Peru; and KMC Mallorca, Spain. The Centers shared photos and stories so that others could get to know their communities and events – see the photo galleries below.

From time to time National Spiritual Directors visit centers in their region to give teachings. In addition to the inspiring teachings, these special events have many benefits including attracting new people and bringing the community together. People experience the joy of meditation, deepen their Sangha friendships through relaxing and meditating together and sow many seeds for liberation and enlightenment.

Each Buddha is a manifestation of a different aspect of an enlightened mind. They appear in this way to bestow blessings and help living beings with a particular aspect of their spiritual practice. In the past weeks, practitioners in Spain, Nicaragua, the US, and France received blessings to enhance their purification, healing, compassion, and wisdom practices. 

Seven back-to-back public talks were given in Germany this February. Sangha from Tara KMC in Leipzig, KMC Dresden, KMC Munich, KMC Stuttgart, KMC Freiburg, KMC Karlsruhe, and KMC Berlin applied great effort in organizing and publicizing a tour with the National Spiritual Director of Germany, Slovenia, Romania & Czech Republic, Gen Kelsang Ananda. The International Kadampa Retreat Center Grand Canyon finished its 2024 Mountain Retreat with powerful blessings during a three-week Guru Sumati Buddha Heruka Close Retreat and Vajradaka Burning Offering.

The retreat program at Kadampa Centers is diverse, with each Center organizing retreats that are most suitable to their disciples’ needs. Recently, Tantric retreats have been drawing to a close with Vajrayogini Burning offering at KMC Barcelona and KMC France, and KMC Madrid concluding their Guru yoga retreat.
