In recent weeks some Kadampa Centers have opened their doors in a variety of ways to allow many people to find and enjoy Kadampa meditation.<\/em>

Here Madhyamaca KMC<\/a> with its annual Fair, Nargarjuna KMC<\/a> with its Summer Fete and, in Buenos Aires, Nagarjuna KBC<\/a> with its Open Doors.<\/em><\/p>\r\n

Last weekend Madhyamaka KMC<\/a> held their annual summer fair. People from the local area brought their families to a great day of fun and entertainment, within the beautiful grounds and historic house of Kilnwick Percy Hall.<\/p>\r\n

The day included taster meditation sessions for children and adults; tours of the meditation rooms and historic house; kids activites and games and exploring a fire engine and police van with staff from the Fire Brigade and police.<\/p>\r\n

It was a great day out and wonderful to see so many people enjoying beautiful Madhyamaka KMC<\/a>.<\/strong><\/p>\r\n

Summer Fete at Nagarjuna KMC<\/h2>\r\n

\"NKT<\/p>\r\n

Fun and Games were had by all from around Thornby and the villages at our annual Summer Fete at Nagarjuna KMC<\/a>, Thornby Hall. Live bands playing a wide selection of country music on the lawn, opera singers on the terrace, Thai Chi demonstrations in the flower garden, and meditations in the Hall.<\/p>\r\n

Plenty to keep the kids entertained with face painting, hook a duck, and tin can knock down amongst other games. Lots of options for shopping, with a variety of local craft stalls spread around the grounds along with Bric a Brac, plants, and a tombola. No chance of anyone going hungry with 2 cafes serving yummy cakes, hot food stalls, and ice cream.<\/p>\r\n

We would like to thank all our wonderful volunteers from Thornby and Leicester for making it such a great day.<\/strong><\/p>\r\n

Open Doors in buenos aires, zona norte<\/h2>\r\n

Few weeks ago, we had a beautiful activity called Open Doors in which we opened our Center to the entire community. We received teachings, we learned the meanings of our altar and its offerings, we shared a delicious snack, we prayed for peace in the world and we had a fun raffle!<\/p>\r\n

Nagarjuna KBC<\/a> is open to everyone who wants to improve their life and cultivate inner peace by putting Buddha’s teachings into practice.<\/p>\r\n
