Kadampa Meditation Centers in US, France and Mexico celebrated significant spiritual events and teachings. KMC Colorado<\/a> celebrate its first empowerment in its new Denver property. KMC Montpellier<\/a> concluded January with sessions on the Six Perfections and Bodhisattva Vows. KMC Monterrey<\/a> retreat, ‚Meditations for Busy People,‘ inspired attendees towards deeper Dharma study. KMC Metz<\/a> hosted a weekend on The Wheel of Life, attracting participants from across the Grand Est region.<\/p>\n

\n\t\tKMC Colorado\n\t<\/h3>\n\t\t\t\t\n\t\t\t\t\"Empowerment\n\t\t\t\t<\/a>\n\t

The winds of positive change are blowing strong in Colorado for 2024! Over two years ago the KMC Colorado<\/a> community purchased its first building near the largest lake in Denver, Sloan’s Lake.<\/p>\n

We opened for classes in the newly renovated building in December 2023 and over the weekend of February 3-4 Kadam Lucy James gave Green Tara empowerment to over 50 people. Our first empowerment in our new space. There were many new faces and old who participated in this beautiful event and we were happy to see them all. No one walked away without feeling blessed and inspired by the teachings on how to draw closer to Buddha Tara.<\/p>\n

We are so looking forward to our grand opening with the Deputy Spiritual Director, Gen-la Kelsang Jampa on March 9-10th.<\/p>\n

\n\t\tKMC Montpellier\n\t<\/h3>\n\t\t\t\t\n\t\t\t\t\"KMC-Montpellier_\n\t\t\t\t<\/a>\n\t

Vajrasattva KMC<\/a>’s January retreats concluded with two wonderful and enriching mornings focussed on „the courage of altruism,“ showing the practical application of the six perfections in our daily lives.<\/p>\n

On Sunday the retreat culminated in a deeply meaningful ceremony where many participants, inspired by the weekend’s teachings, took the Bodhisattva Vow, thereby promising to live this altruistic life.<\/p>\n

\n\t\tKMC Monterrey\n\t<\/h3>\n\t\t\t\t\n\t\t\t\t\"KMC-Monterry_DSC08209\"\n\t\t\t\t<\/a>\n\t

Our ‚Meditations for Busy People‘ January retreat, guided by Kelsang Damcho, focused on teachings from ‚The Mirror of Dharma.‘ The three-week program inspired attendees to deepen their Dharma practice. This led to an increased interest in our Foundation Program, which will resume on February 8th. We’re grateful to all participants and our dedicated Teacher.<\/p>\n

Nearly 40 people participated in this beautiful weekend focused on The Wheel of Life with Gen Kelsang Konchog.
