Last week Kadampa Meditation Centre Monterrey celebrated their annual visit of National Spiritual Director, Gen Kelsang Sangden, with two precious events – a public talk at MARCO museum, an iconic venue in Monterrey city center and an urban retreat that culminated with a party for the 14th anniversary of the center.

At the end of the year Kadampa Meditation Centre Brasil hosted a 3-day retreat that culminated in a big celebration for the New Year.
At the moment there are 3 retreats running at the same time.
Recently three centers in South America – Kadampa Meditation Center Cordoba, Kadampa Meditation Center Argentina and Kadampa Meditation Center Campinas, engaged in a syncronised 24-Hour Tara.

With guest Teacher Gen Chokyong from Kadampa Meditation Centre Chile and their Resident Teacher Kelsang Khandro, last Sunday, Wisdom Kadampa Buddhist Center in Concepión held the first meditation retreat outside the city.
As the new temple at KMC México nears completion the centre recently took delivery of the Dharma wheel that will be placed in the roof.

Tharpa Mexico was present at the Guadalajara International Book Fair in Jalisco, one of the most important publishing festivals in the world. This year 806,000 visitors attended, 2,000 publishers were present and 49 countries were represented. It is one of the most awaited events in the City.
