SPECIAL WORDS OF INSPIRATION FROM GEN-LA KELSANG KHYENRAB
“Wisdom and meditation are the essence of a meaningful life. Abiding in the powerful blessings of the Widsom Buddha Manjushri, our Spiritual Guide, we can successfully meditate on the special presentation of the 14 meditations presented by Venerable Geshe Kelsang Gyatso Rinpoche in How to Understand the Mind. In this way every moment we shall make swift progress on our spiritual journey to liberation and enlightenment.”
Gen-la Khyenrab will grant the empowerment of Wisdom Buddha Manjushri and give teachings from How to Understand the Mind.
KMC New York
KMC New York is the second Temple for World Peace established by Venerable Geshe Kelsang Gyatso. Opened in 2006 it is a special holy place. Set on 82 acres of pristine land, there are forest walks, streams, lovely camping spots and many quiet places. The Temple is approximately 2 hours outside of NYC, easily accessible from all the major NYC area airports.
“Buddhist Temples are representations of a Pure Land of an enlightened being – an enlightened heaven. Whoever sees them immediately experiences peace of mind, or inner peace. When we experience inner peace we are happy, so Temples function to give happiness to everyone, whether Buddhist or not.”
-Venerable Geshe Kelsang Gyatso
