Samples are collected at regular intervals to check the soil features.

A 60 cm hole 5 meters deep is drilled in just five minutes!

The engineer is lowered into the whole to check that everything is OK for the next stage – pouring the concrete.

Steel reinforcement is delivered for the foundations.

First each hole is half filled with concrete . . .

. . . t hen the steel reinforcement is lowered in . . .

. . . and finally the hole is filled with concrete.

Throughout the process concrete samples are collected for compression resistance tests in the laboratory.
