Fall Festival 2009

October 30 – November 5

Welcome to the 09 NKT Fall Festival Italy, which has arisen through the kindness of Venerable Geshe Kelsang Gyatso.

This special gathering of Kadampa Buddhists from around the world provides us with an opportunity to relax and enjoy a very meaningful spiritual holiday together – receiving personal advice from Buddha to improve our lives, meditating on clear, transformative teachings, and spending time with like-minded friends in the rolling hills of idyllic Tuscany.

This year, we have the special opportunity to improve our health and increase our happiness by receiving the blessings of Medicine Buddha. The empowerment ceremony and the commentaries that follow it will be accompanied by guided meditations and the opportunity to engage in two days of retreat to deepen our experience of what we have learned. Everyone, whether new to Buddhism or an experienced practitioner, is welcome. Beginners will gain practical methods to solve life’s problems, while students of many years will be further inspired on their spiritual path.
