Stupa

The stupa represents Buddha’s mind.
Each aspect of a stupa symbolizes a facet of the enlightened mind or of the path leading to enlightenment, attainable by all living beings.
A traditional shrine or altar includes a picture or statue of Buddha (symbolizing Buddha’s body) in the center, a stupa or picture of a stupa on its right, and a text (symbolizing Buddha’s speech) on its left.
