It’s Spring time at Manjushri KMC.
Work continues on clearing in the grounds to make new features including a rockery
We began the new term with Amitayus Retreat in the Kadampa Temple
The new Kadampa Studio changed a great deal this month.
From digging out the foundations . . .
. . . to making the ground beams . . .
. . . to erecting the steelwork . . .
. . . and now the building starts to appear!
Meanwhile the artists continue to work in their temporary spaces . . .
. . . sculpting and casting the statues that go to Temples all over the world
We welcomed 200 visitors to the Another World Course . . .
. . . held in the Temple on a beautiful frosty Weekend
Everyone very much enjoyed . . .
. . . the clear and inspiring teachings by Gen-la Khyenrab
There was time also to meet up with friends …
… and lots of opportunities to cherish our visitors
During the course the new Kadampa Recording Studio was used for the first time to record a new meditation CD and new sadhanas
As the weather turned characteristically blustery we held our Vajrayogini fire puja
. . . with 40 retreaters attending, including many visitors from UK and other European centres
The shortest month has been very full . . . and very enjoyable!
