US Kadampa Festival 2011
The US Kadampa Festival 2011 is already under way this weekend at the Kadampa Temple in New York. NKT Deputy Spiritual Director Gen-la Kunsang is granting the empowerment of Medicine Buddha and giving teachings from ‘Modern Buddhism’, Geshe-la’s latest book. The empowerment ceremony and the teachings that follow will be accompanied by guided meditations and two days of retreat to deepen understanding and experience of what has been learned.
