Through the first week of September the Croatian Sangha were very pleased to hold the First Croatian Dharma Celebration with Gen-la Kelsang Khyenrab.

Gen-la first visited Zadar, where he met with the students of Compassion Centre before giving a public talk that evening.

Then at Kailash Centre, Split, Croatia’s oldest NKT Centre, Gen-la gave a further public talk. This was followed by a weekend of teachings based around the Medicine Guru practice, the empowerment of which was given in the Centre’s World Peace Cafe in central Split. The course was attended by mainly Croatians, who were joined by Hungarians who had driven many hours from Transylvania and Budapest to enjoy this precious opportunity.

Within a few days Gen-la Khyenrab covered all the essential meanings of Lamrim, leaving us with much to ponder and strongly inspired.

Also appreciated were Gen-la’s down-to-earth practical suggestions on how to help our centres and people of this region.
