We had the great good fortune to begin 2008 with a magnificent Dharma Festival with Venerable Gen-la Khyenrab from 18 to 20 January at the Royal Hotel Pedregal in Mexico City. We received the powerful purifying blessings of Buddha Vajrasattva.

The Festival was organized by Centro de Meditación Kadampa México A.R., previously Centro Dharmachakra A.C., supported by our four Dharma Centers: Drolma, Sukhavati, Compasión and Menlha.

320 fortunate Kadampa disciples attended the festival. Many came from distant places such as Chiapas, Queretaro, Chetumal, Puebla, Villahermosa, Culiacán, Ensenada, Pachuca, Cuernavaca, Celaya and Venezuela.

Our precious Teacher Gen-la Khyenrab gave inspiring teachings about the importance of our purification practice and the great opportunity we now have to reduce and eventually eliminate all our negative potential and enjoy a pure and happy life.

Join us through these photos of this magnificent festival – the beautiful shrines and the splendid shop arranged and decorated by a creative team, – inspired with affection and love by our National Spiritual Director Gen Kelsang Kunsang who also led profound and conclusive meditations.

May we continue to create the causes to receive Gen-la Khyenrab’s again in our country very soon.
