Modern Kadampa Buddhism
In recent years Kadampa Buddhism has undergone considerable growth throughout the world due principally to the selfless actions of the contemporary Buddhist Master, Venerable Geshe Kelsang Gyatso.
Geshe Kelsang has worked tirelessly to promote Kadampa Buddhism by giving extensive teachings, writing qualified books on Kadampa Buddhism, establishing a Kadampa education program, opening 1100 Dharma centers around the world, inaugurating the International Temples Project, and founding the New Kadampa Tradition, the International Kadampa Buddhist Union.
The vast number of resources available on this website have all arisen from the kindness of Geshe Kelsang and are a testament to the extent of his work for the benefit of all living beings.
