Cellar before the invasion of Swiss Kadampas, during the work of cleaning up and towards the end of our activity.

Wally is happily preparing the improvised meditation hall for the evening puja.

Our first Puja in Kailash IRC – a Wishfulfilling Jewel with Tsog-Offering on the 29th June

Some arrived after lunch and had been working all day long to clear rubbish from the house, others arrived in the evening after work and a 3 hours drive. We all enjoyed our Puja although it was late, almost midnight.

The moon after the puja, arising behind the mountains, resembled the New Kadampa Tradition Logo

Dining room: after

A lot of the crockery we can still use but it needs some washing up. Volunteers welcome ;-)

Didnt we ask for strong people in our last Newsletter? Here they are getting rid of an old and very heavy ironing machine.

Lunch in the only restaurant of the village – did we mention that the village is situated on a quite steep hill? Do we look so tired because of the work or because of walking up to the hotel?

What a mess – this room was used for all sorts for litter like bottles, broken chairs, cardboard, some undefined things and we even found the skeletons of two cats

A big thank you to all the helpers who did a great job over the weekend to get started preparing Kailash IRC. Now professional workers will do most of the necessary renovation work. Some of the work will be done by us with the help of professionals in our Sangha.
