KMC Hong Kong is located in the heart of the bustling Wan Chai district. The Centre offers a calming oasis in a thriving city where its premises can be found hidden behind the historic trams of Johnston Road, .

The World Peace Café occupies the ground floor with its lovely high ceilings and tranquil atmosphere. The Café is extremely popular during lunchtimes when busy city dwellers flock in to relax, unwind and enjoy the organic vegetarian meals – a rarity in Hong Kong. The Café equally offers an opportunity for Dharma practitioners to offer public service through volunteering as waitresses and cooks. The cast of volunteers truly reflect the multi-ethnic nature of Hong Kong, with a diverse mix of ordained Sangha and lay people of different nationalities.

Above the Café are two floors with meditation rooms where the Centre runs a packed schedule of study classes and meditation retreats throughout the year. Everyone is welcome to join us at the KMC to receive practical Dharma training and instruction given in both Cantonese and English. There are also regular Day Courses held at weekends and occasional group retreats organized in the serene countryside of Hong Kong’s New Territories.
